Health club advert sparks so substantially outrage it even has paint thrown more than it

AN ADVERT for a gymnasium that called folks “fat and unsightly” has provoked so a lot outrage that it has experienced paint thrown above it.

The billboard advertising PT Factory Health and fitness center in Denton, Larger Manchester was defaced with yellow paint immediately after pedestrians complained to the gym’s owner.

The ad confirmed a image of a girl doing the job out, with a male gymgoer in the background with their head out of shot.

The controversial tagline together with the impression study: “Weary of staying unwanted fat and unattractive? Now just be hideous!”

It then inspired people today to be a part of the gym for 2023 and supplied “24/7 fitness center memberships”.

The board was vandalised with neon yellow paint, although another person even spray-painted the terms “This is lousy psychological” on it in black.

Ollie Lawrence, who owns PT Factory, was shocked by the reaction to the “light-hearted joke”, which was erected on December 5, including that he would not have place it up if he considered it would offend anyone.

He explained: “I could not believe it. It was just a mild-hearted joke. It was not our intention to offend anybody.

“We spoke to a ton of men and women beforehand and 99 per cent have witnessed it for what it is – a joke.

He added that the health and fitness center had obtained “countless numbers of reviews expressing how excellent it is” and only “8 or 9” issues.

The surprised health and fitness fanatic additional: “There is absolutely nothing destructive in it. That is not who we are as a company.

“We’re a seriously helpful fitness center. The eight men and women who have complained really do not really know me as a person.

“I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of person. I’ve generally been in this marketplace to enable people today.”
